I recently had the opportunity to photograph the impressive „Ceramic Bodies“ by industrial designer Jörg Hugo, which earned the German Design Award 2023. The black porcelain has a beautiful matte texture that really stands out against a simple black backdrop. 

The vases convey a sense of intimate connection, as if they are embracing and supporting one another, an effect that is particularly enhanced by the soft light that highlights their shapes.
