In her project Sensorium, designer Laura Görs explores the aesthetics and perception of fermentation. She created a series of glass and porcelain objects that make the sensory experiences of fermented foods tangible. For example, a glass bell jar beautifully captures the aroma of fermented dishes, while the lenses of the specially designed drinking glasses allow a closer observation of the carbonation produced through fermentation.
In the photo series, our goal was not only to showcase the objects in the best light but also to convey their sensory qualities.
